❤ Frida Gustavsson

Frida Gustavsson is one of my favorite models. I love a great deal of models but Frida is definitely in my top 3. Here's a little background on her. She's a very young model having been born on June 6, 1993 in Stockholm, Sweden. She began modeling locally in 2008 then went to Japan to try it out there. She signed with IMG in 2009 and her career took off. She's walked for designers such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Lanvin, Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Jacobs, Jean Paul Gaultier and many others. She was the fourth most requested model of the Spring 2010 season which was a big deal because she was a newcomer. She's been in countless magazines including the American, British, German, Japanese, Italian and French editions of Vogue, L'Officiel, Wand Numéro. She's a regular on Elle Sweden and has had two covers for the magazine (September 2010 and January 2011). She also appeared on the cover of Vogue Germany. She's been in advertising campaigns for Marc Jacobs, Daisy by Marc Jacobs, Etro, Anna Sui, Jill Stuart and many others. She is said to be studying at Central Saint Martins and hopes to be a stylist.

Frida is one of my favorite models because she has so much personality and that translates to her pictures. On her cover of Vogue Germany you couldn't even see her eyes. A hat covered half her face but it was still one amazing cover. Yes, she's absolutely gorgeous and has a crazy good runway walk, but there's something that sets her apart from a lot of other models. She's not afraid to make ugly, funny or crazy faces when she's being shot. It kind of reminds me of Coco Rocha, another model I love, haha. More on her next time. Frida is definitely one model to watch for. She's young and I believe she'll go far in modeling. Can't wait to see more of her! :]

Oh, and this is going to be a bit photo heavy. Had such a hard time narrowing down all the pictures I wanted to show. If I didn't edit I'd probably have about 25 photos, hahaha! Decided to go with 12 because of the Christmas season :]
