I know I've said this a million times but I shall say it again. Oh, how I love books! The picture above is my not-so-crowded bookshelf, haha. Two layers of books per shelf (one in front, the other behind) with books layered on top too. There was another row of books but I had boxes of fabric in front of that so I was only able to take a picture of the first three rows. Believe it or not that's not even all my books, haha. I'd say that's around 7/8 of my books. I have countless piles of other books and magazines all around my room because they can't fit in my bookshelf anymore. I've been meaning to go through them and give some away but I haven't had the time. I'm not looking forward to doing that either so maybe I've been putting it off for as long as I can. I read my books multiple times and they bring back a lot of memories so I have a hard time parting with them. I can still remember when and where I bought most of my books, haha.
I've been reading ever since I can remember. It's something I got from my parents because reading is really important to them-- especially to my dad. I think he's the only person in our house who has more books than I do. I think my books would be like half of his collection. Maybe even less, haha. My family treasures books and it's the one thing my parents don't mind spending on. They've been giving us a monthly book allowance so we can keep updating our collections and I gotta say I'm loving it! New books every month, yay! :] The love of reading is definitely something I'd love to pass down to my children in the future because you can learn so much through books. I wouldn't want them to miss out on that. Do you guys enjoy reading? :]
A pile of preparation books for SATs and some French text books.
Here's a pile of French dictionaries and phrase books and some random fashion books.
This is the pile of books next to my bed. I have two Bibles (three actually but when I took this picture the other one was on my bed because I just read it, haha), a Batman comic and a couple of notebooks :]
This is the book I'm currently reading. I wish I could read more of it but I have a lot of stuff to do so I've been kind of slow. I'm definitely enjoying it though :]
