Simpler Times

I wore this outfit to school and youth service a couple of weeks ago. Yes, I went to school and church looking like that. I guess you can say I was in the mood to dress up. I felt like a 40s or 50s housewife in that outfit and I absolutely loved it, haha! 





I honestly wouldn't mind dressing up like this every day. I was so happy when the top and skirt worked together. I've had this top for a while now and had absolutely no idea what to pair it with. I decided to try this outfit on for fun and I fell in love. I kept my hair up so you see the top in all its glory. Yup, I know they're just fruits but still!! Haha. I think that top is adorable. I knew it had to be mine the moment I saw it. SO happy with all the items I've gotten from Applerust so far. They're pretty amazing. :]


On a different note, school is finally over!! This term went by so fast. Too fast, maybe. Why is it already September? Haha. Well, I guess that's a good thing. September means I'm on term break and must now clean my room and get rid of junk. I'm trying to find a way to organize all my things so that when I want to make something, it's easy. Haha. Right now, I have plastic boxes piled on top of each other, and I want to get something I have to remove the boxes one by one until I find the one I'm looking for. Often the thought of that makes me too lazy to make anything.. Bad, I know. I'm trying to fix that too, haha. Must. Be. Productive. Maybe I'll take pictures of the things I've been making and show them to you guys. Maybe doing so would encourage me to be more productive, haha. Enough of that.
