The Fanciful Sunflower

Before anything else I'd like to greet everyone Happy Holidays! It's Christmas Eve tomorrow and I cannot wait! Super excited to spend time with my family and relatives :] I hope you all have fun tomorrow!

Here's another outfit post for you guys. This is the "dressed up" version of what I wore to a day of last minute Christmas shopping at Greenbelt and High Street. I figured walking in Greenbelt, from end to end of High Street and from High Street to Market Market in heels would be painful, so I wore other shoes. More on that casual look later. I made the skirt I'm wearing and it's one of my favorite pieces I've made so far. I really love this particular floral-printed fabric I found because of the colors. They're quite loud but they work together. Not the typical pastel-colored, baby floral-printed fabric, though there's absolutely nothing wrong with those! I own quite a lot of clothes with that type of fabric, haha. If you keep reading you'll see a better picture of the skirt :]

I paired my skirt with my boater hat, a tee from Forever 21, a yellow cardigan, a yellow belt, floral printed socks and wedges. I got that bag from HK. I'm covering the shape of the handle  but you'll see what it looks like in another outfit post :]

The pictures below show the casual version of my outfit. I paired the outfit with shoes from H&M and an oversized letterman jacket. Sorry for the very unflattering shots of my bag, haha. I wanted it near me because I'm quite paranoid when it comes to losing my things and just leaving them anywhere. I only realized I should've fixed my bag and made it look a bit more presentable when I saw the pictures. Oh, well. I'll keep that in mind next time.

Here's a close up of the skirt I made! The fabric has yellow, bright neon green, red, orange and blue on it :]
Hype this on lookbook and chictopia :]

The Rose: Just what species or, shall we say, genus are you, my dear?
Alice: Well, I guess you could call me... genus, humanus... Alice.
