BTS: BS CT Graduation Show

Here are some behind-the-scenes photos from the BS CT Grad Show! :] I know I said I'd post them yesterday, but I had to prioritize other things.

BS CT Graduation Show

Last October 15, 2011 was a big day for me and for my friend Rowhe. It was my first time doing runway and it was my friend's graduation show for BS Clothing Technology (UP Diliman). The fashion show was for one of her classes which was taught by my professor (in SoFA), Miss Ish Orendain. Remember the Alice Morbie Doll that went with me to Europe? Ms Ish made that. :]

Port 88: Ready, Set, SALE!

I'm pretty sure most of you enjoy shopping. Remember the bazaar Port 88: Ready, Set, SALE! from last year? Well, good news! It's happening again this coming weekend-- September 17-18, 2011 at the Megatent Events Venue.

Eric Raisina pt. 2

As promised here is part 2 of the Eric Raisina post. More gorgeous clothes, textures and colors! Watched a show at Philippine Fashion Week awhile ago but wasn't able to take any pictures.. Next time I promise to take some! Anyway, enjoy the rest of these photos I took at the Raisina show a few weeks back. :]

Such a lovely bag, right? :]

"Africa has a such a great potential in terms of creativity, innovation and manufacturing. Definitely, Africa’s influences are shown a lot in fashion these last 3 seasons. Johannesburg will be for me the next big Africa’s appoitment of fashion."

Eric Raisina pt. 1

I got to watch this fashion show a couple of weeks ago thanks to the wonderful mom of Kyle (Thanks for the fun evening, Tita Cynthia! :]). The show was marvelous and so refreshing. Eric Raisina's designs are all about texture and there was a lot of that in the room. I took so many pictures and had to edit a bunch (and I still have to fix more) so I decided to divide this post into 2 parts. Expect part 2 within the week :]

I loved the colors of the show. And of course, I loved the textures. Most of which were handmade/handwoven. There were some amazing fabrics too! There were certain looks I'd totally wear and there were some that were nice to look at. I enjoyed the menswear designs that went down the runway. They had some really nice details. Here are some pictures so you can all see what I'm talking about! :]

Love this dress to bits!

This look is something I'd totally wear :] Love everything about it!

More yellow and blue!

Pretty cool stuff, right? :] The lines and colors are gorgeous!

I know that was pretty short but there'll be more soon! Don't worry. :]

I love to travel. I love to be inspired by what I have seen and select the best ideas, the best colors, the best atmospheres. I like to see what happens in the market wherever I am. That really inspires me.

Rio Mints

Went to the media launch of Rio Mints yesterday at Robot thanks to SoFA. :] Saw a few friends and classmates and was glad to have some company, haha. There was a fashion show of some students of SoFA and it was superb. Yesterday was fun and Rio mints are great. :] Try getting yourself a pack at 711 or any other convenience store! All the flavors are great but honey melon is my favorite. Just saying, haha. :] Here are more pictures from the event!

Such a beautiful dress!

Gorgeous necklace by Rocky de Castro :]

Designers with their models

Don't you just love what she's wearing? I know I do! :]

With friend and designer, Nicole Aquino! :]

This time with my fellow chopstick expert (or not.. HAHA) and partner in crime, Alyssa

Thanks to the lovely Alyssa for the next two pictures.. :]

..And for this pretty bag! We were both eyeing it like crazy but they could only give us one because it was really meant for the media. She asked for it from her friend but she said let me take it home! THANKS, ALYSSA! You are too kind. :D

If you're wondering what that red thing with the number 24 is, I used the bag right away and put colored pencils in it, haha. :]
