Tried to post this last Monday but I really couldn't because all my time was devoted to my midterms. Nearly done with all of them! Just two more to deal with! I'll try to blog more this week to make up for the lack of posts this month! Haha. :] But let's focus on this week's inspiration post first! :]

Fall 2012: Alexander McQueen
Andddd here is that other collection I was talking about!! Gah. One of my favorites this season! So amazing! Everything's perfect-- from the overall looks to all the tiny little details. The colors are quite awesome too!
Fall 2012: Gianfranco Ferré
Last post of the night then I gotta improve some sketches and scan them. Sooo much work to be done. I wish I could just stare at all these photos and call that work because they are gorgeous. I guess what I'm loving about this past fashion week is pretty obvious through all my posts, hahaha. Except for the Moschino one. Had to change it up a bit since oversized coats and everything aren't the only thing I'm loving this season! This is actually one of my favorites this time around. Everything looks so chic and polished but it still has some roughness to it. Love!!
Fall 2012: Moschino
Midterms, midterms, midterms. Lezdothis. Needed to take a breather from all the research I've been doing. I've still got loads of work waiting for me and only 2-4 days (depending on the subject) to finish everything. I'll definitely get everything done with a whole lot of prayer and a whole lot of not sleeping, haha. Anyway, figured writing for my blog would be a little productive break so here I am. This collection by Moschino is spectacular! So costume-y and lively but a lot of the pieces are actually quite wearable. Gotta love that!
❤ Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves
I immediately fell in love with these photos the moment I saw them. I mean, come on. A horse, awesome styling, awesome pictures, and Kelley Ash is quickly becoming a new favorite model. Keep reading to see all the photos! I promise you won't regret it! :]
❤ Change of Season
Saw this lovely spread on fgr last night. Yes, it's a very common theme, but Marie Claire Italia managed to make it quite delightful. The photos, model and styling is superb. I wish I could shoot in a location like that regularly, haha.
❤ Kalifornia
Polaroids are amazing. I really want to do a shoot similar to the one below. I'd also love to experiment with polaroids! Fashion Gone Rogue used expired polaroids for this and it turned out wonderful. I am loving these exclusive shoots for FGR. More information about this one over here.

❤ Sasha Pivovarova
Sasha Pivovarova is one seriously amazing model. She's gorgeous and has such a distinct look. She was an art history student in Russia when her friend (and now husband) sent some pictures of her to IMG. That's when her career started. In her first season of fashion week, Prada signed her to a 3year exclusive advertising contract. She's been on too many magazine covers to count and has appeared in even more campaigns than those. She also currently ranks #4 on models.com. She has a love for art and draws during her spare time. Karl Lagerfeld asked her to draw for Chanel before and her work has been exhibited. Sasha really is talented and extremely gorgeous! :]

❤ The News from Paris
The News from Paris is an editorial from Harper's Bazaar US January 2008. It stars Sasha Pivovarova, was styled by Melanie Ward and was shot by Anthony Ward. The story doesn't seem too cohesive. I don't know if it's just me that doesn't get it but it's all right. It's still awesome and I have a feeling they meant it to be that way, haha. The shots are great and the colored ones are so vibrant. Sasha P is amazing! I love her work and have been following it but I only found out tonight (while searching for this ed) that she's married, haha! Wow! I can't believe I didn't know that. I was able to see some of the photos her husband, Igor Vishnyakov, took of her. I should post about her soon. :] Maybe this week since my next post for Sprinkle the Pixie Dust Loves will be about a model I like. Okay, I'm getting excited and distracted. Back to the editorial. Some shots are purely whimsical and that's what I loved about it. There are also some gorgeous clothes here! Great hair and makeup too! I'll save everything I wanna say about Sasha for my post about her. :] For now, here's the spread. Hope you guys like it! :]
