❤ Nina Ricci Spring 2011 Collection

This week I want to share the Spring 2011 collection of Nina Ricci with you. I love this collection for its colors and dainty-ness (couldn't find a better word, haha). The balance of femininity and masculinity in some looks is stellar. The ruffles were placed very tastefully and I love the silhouettes of the garments. I'm pretty sure you all know by now that this style is kinda my thing, haha. There are so many dresses and pieces from this collection that I'd love to wear! Here are some my fave looks but if you want to view the whole collection, go here. :]

Love this dress! :]

These shorts are perfection.

My favorite piece in this whole collection! I'd totally wear this!

Gorgeous top and colors

Frida! :]

This dress is also very lovely :]

Better

This is a really late outfit post, haha. These photos were taken by my brother in Tagaytay a couple of weeks ago. The last week of Feb, if I'm not mistaken. We had lunch there with my uncle who was visiting from the US of A. We miss him and that day was loads of fun! :] It was also terribly windy so that can explain my messier-than-usual hair, haha. I'm wearing a denim jacket, a salmon tank top, denim shorts and really comfy gray boots from HK. I'm also using some shades I got from Forever 21 and a necklace I got from HK.

Sorry for the hair in my face, haha!

So the camera focused on the trees behind me but I think my hair is very interesting in this photo. The wind made it all swirly, haha! :]
Hype on lookbook and chictopia! :]

As for the title of this song, it's a song by Regina Spektor. I'm not feeling that well today and I think the title of this song was appropriate because I want to feel better already, hahaha. No, but seriously I do wanna get better. It all started with a headache yesterday but it got worse around 11am today. I'm trying to ignore it because I have a lot of work to get done. Maybe I'll try to finish soon so I can just stay in bed after, haha. I would love that! Hope you guys are feeling much, much better than I am and I hope you guys like the song! :]

If I kiss you where it's sore
Will you feel better, better, better
Will you feel anything at all?
WIll you feel better, better, better
Will you feel anything at all?

DIY: Lace & Nuts

While browsing through Pinterest the other day, I found a picture of a DIY bracelet made of rope and nuts. I really wanted one so I decided to make it! I didn't have any rope and when I went to some stores to buy it, they didn't have the one I wanted. When I got home I dug through my box of materials and found some lovely lace trim! I thought this would be a great substitute and it was, haha! I really love how it turned out and I'll definitely be making more of this! It's really easy and I am so loving the feeling of being productive again! :]

On another note, I had Filipino a while ago and to my surprise, I actually did well on our oral exam! :D Success! Thank you, Jesus! :] I couldn't stop smiling after I got my grade, HAHA. Nerd, indeed. Hard work paid off. Must thank the awesome Camille Go for helping me out too! :] I also had Digital Fashion Illustration class today and here are some screenshots of what we did, haha!

We were supposed to practice strokes and all. The dog I drew looks mad, haha!

Our class is still getting used to Adobe Illustrator and I'm actually enjoying it, haha! It seems fun! We also tried to do some flats (technical drawings of garments) a while ago. Our homework for next meeting is to draw flats of what our partner was wearing. Danika of Hello Rio is my partner and her outfit consisted of 4 pieces, haha! This should be interesting. I hope my flats turn out well!

That's all for tonight! :] Thanks for reading!! :]

Too cute to not share

If you've been reading my blog you'll know that I've been getting pictures from Pinterest. I came across these and found them too cute to keep from you all! Even Though

Decided to play dress up sometime back and put this outfit together. Thanks for taking and editing the photos, Kyle! :] I'm wearing a dress with lots of prints, a cardigan from PH's Car, yellow socks, my boater hat and heels from Parisian. At first, I wasn't sure what to do with this outfit because the dress is really short. I tried tights and a few other things then I stumbled upon these socks and knew they would work well. I really like the outcome! What do you guys think? :]

Accessories: necklaces from Kyle, HK and Forever 21, rings and bangles from Belle York and PLF, and my Tinker Bell watch.
Hype on lookbook and chictopia! :]

On another note, my friend Danika of Hello Rio got me hooked on this website called Pinterest. There are soooo many cute, inspirational, amusing and interesting pictures on that site. I've been getting pegs like crazy and now I want to make even more things than I already did, haha. Before I go, here are some really cute stuff I found there! :] Aren't they lovely? Check out the site if you have time by clicking the link above but beware because it is very addictive, haha! :]

Coolest doll house ever!

This looks adorable! :]

❤ Camilla Akrans

I know I normally post about designers and models but I wanted to change things up a bit and post about a photographer. I learned about Camilla Akrans through Fashion Gone Rogue and I wanted to share some of her pictures with you. I love how soft and dainty her pictures can be-- some are even a bit whimsical which is perfection to me. She's shot for many magazines including various editions of Vogue, Numéro, Industrie and Harper's Bazaar among others. She's also shot many campaigns and has worked with H&M, Herve Leger, Max Azria, Filippa K, Monsoon and many other designers/brands. It was a bit hard finding a biography on her so I'll just show you her photographs. Hope you guys like them! :]
